Among the many things I asked Andrea to bring me when she came (about 80% food related) were Nestle chocolate chips. Not only are chocolate chip cookies my #1 achilles’ heel, they are also one of the few things I can make well, and I’ve been dying to make them here (I think they have chocolate chips but they are super expensive, and I could’ve just broken up a chocolate bar but I wanted to do it the legit way first).
So I did. I made them for dessert, for a movie night, for my coworkers, and made a ton of extra batter and stuck it in the freezer for later.
Needless to say they were a big hit. (They were confused, however, at my recommendation of drinking cold milk with them. I gave up trying to explain that awhile ago, along with the eggs at breakfast).
